Praised as one of South Korea’s greatest soprano of the generation, Eunsie Hong carries incredible amounts of performance experience in orchestral concert and opera. Her exceptional dynamic control in her voice sways her audience in happiness and tears.

BIOGRAPHY
Highlights of her 2019 season starts with a release of her album "The First" with Sony Classical Music. She had a concert tour as a soloist for the Mozart Requiem at the world-renowned Musikverein Golden Hall in Vienna, Mozarteum Salzburg in Austria and Music Institute of Zagreb in Croatia. She also performed with Sinfonia Rotterdam Orchestra at Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, singing arias of Strauss and Gounod.
She performed with many orchestras including Hradec Králové Orchestra at Smetana Hall of Municipal House in Prague, Ukraine Symphony Orchestra, Kiev Radio Symphony Orchestra, Prime Philharmonic Orchestra and Korail Symphony Orchestra.
She launched her career appearing in the leading roles; Violetta in La Traviata at Sejong M-Theater, Adina of L'elisir d'amore and Olympia in the Tales of Hoffmann. She also performed in newly composed Korean operas, such as Stubborn Ong and Tales of Fox, which grabbed the attention of many audience and critics eyes. She participated in several national festivals, including the Seoul Art Center Opera Festival Gala Concert, Sejong Culture Center New Year’s concert, Soloist Ensemble Silvester Music Festival, The Great Four Operas Festival Gala Concert, and more.
She performed at Bibiena Theater in Mantova, Muth hall in Vienna, Schumann House in Leipzig, Sala Verdi in Conservatorio di Milano, and Villa Menotti in Italy as well as some of the most recognizable concert halls in South Korea, such as Sejong Grand Theater, IBK Chamber Hall of Seoul Art Center, Sejong Chamber Hall, Sejong M Theater, Lotte Concert Hall, KEPCO Art Center, Seoul Cultural Center, KBS Hall, Seongnam Art Center, and Little Angels Hall.
She attended Sunhwa Art Junior High and High School. After completing her Bachelor’s degree at Seoul National University with honors, she continued her study at Conservatorio di Musica “G.Verdi” di Milano and Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado in Italy.
She won several prestigious competitions including National Opera Singing Competition and KUKMIN Ilbo Vocal Competition in South Korea. She is currently teaching at Sunhwa Art School.
